My customized frames are hand made to the highest
standards.
These frames are designed to maximize the conservation of their contents and to set them off the best advantage.
They are unique frames, made entirely from solid hardwoods, with robust corner joints and 100%-natural finishes, and are guaranteed to meet the standards required by museums and galleries, as also by private owners.
The woods used are indigenous to the Pre-Pyrenees area in Catalonia region. After felling, the trunks are cut into boards and seasoned in stacks for at least four years.
I do not use factory-made mouldings: every frame is cut from naturally-seasoned timber.
The final smoothing is done with a hand plane to achieve the unique silky finish that only this method can give. A frame finished in this way stands out a mile, and will last for generations.
